If you want to deactivate or permanently close your Demo Crypto account, you can start by reaching out to Demo Support.

Before you can deactivate your crypto account, you must sell all your stock positions and withdraw the balance.

You can request to deactivate your Demo Crypto account by taking the following steps in the app:

1. Select Account (person icon)
2. Select Account Settings → Deactivate account
3. You’ll be connected to Demo Support to help with the process

After your account has been deactivated, you can still view historical account statements and trade confirmations in the App. Keep in mind, downloading the Demo app again later won’t reactivate your account.

After you’ve deactivated your crypto account, you can permanently close it. Note that account closure is permanent and cannot be reversed.

If you permanently close your account, keep in mind that:

• You’ll lose access to your account, and you won’t be able to log in to Demo.
• You won't be able to retrieve historical information like statements. Make sure to download any information you need before closing your account. If you forget something, you can still reach out for help after your account is closed.
• You’ll be unsubscribed from all communications, including account statements.

Before you permanently close your account, save your transaction history report and other documents you may need in the future.
